Board of Education Vacancy — Director District C
The Briggsdale RE-10J Board of Education has a vacancy in the Director District C seat, following the resignation of Jessica Francis, effective August 24, 2026.
The Board is now accepting letters of interest from residents of Director District C who are interested in being appointed to fill this seat for the remainder of the term.
To be eligible, applicants must:
Reside within the boundaries of Director District C (see map below)
Be a registered elector of Briggsdale School District RE-10J for at least 12 consecutive months
Not have been convicted of a sexual offense against a child
How to apply:
Submit a signed letter of interest no later than September 29, 2026, by 4:00 p.m., either by:
Dropping it off at the Superintendent's Office, 515 Leslie Street, Briggsdale, CO 80611, or
Emailing it to Board of Education Secretary Rashae Herrick at mrsherrick@briggsdaleschool.org
Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the Board in open session, with an appointment expected on or before October 23, 2026.
