The following information comes from Peetz with information on their school site which is under construction.
ADs, Coaches, and Parents.
This year game day is a little different at Peetz High School due to the construction of our new school and the remodeling of the gyms. I want to detail the changes you need to be aware of when coming to Peetz, so game day can still be as exciting and safe as possible.
1. The “commons” or concession stand and bathroom area is completely unavailable right now. So the gym entrance and exit is now to the north up the ramp through the double doors. In case of emergency, that is the main exit as well as the two single doors on the north side of the gym. NO access is available to the south gym doors.
2. To adjust to not having the commons area the concessions stand is in the baseball announcer booth located right behind home plate. There are also two working bathrooms there, however, additional portable restrooms have been placed next to the ramp and gym entrance.
3. We only have access to the two lower locker rooms at this time. During volleyball and football season the visiting girls will take the lower girls' locker room, while the visiting boys will take the weight room. This is subject to change depending on the number of teams playing that night, for example, adding junior high.
4. Parking is also limited due to construction zone fencing taking up half of the parking lot west of the gym. Additional parking can be found south and west of the football field and down Main Street.
5. Below is a map of the construction area to help navigate on arrival.
Thank you for being understanding and patient as we navigate constructions and all of the adjustments taking place. Also, know that the construction is ongoing and more things will change throughout the year. We will do our best to accommodate and communicate those changes as they happen.
